At Wagler Commercial Framing, quality control isn’t just a step—it’s the backbone of our process. Every project we take on is backed by a system designed to prevent mistakes, improve efficiency, and deliver the clean, consistent results our clients expect.
From the very beginning, our QC efforts start in the design and plan review phase, where we identify and resolve potential issues before the first wall panel is built. This upfront investment pays off in the field—minimizing rework, accelerating timelines, and ensuring the highest level of craftsmanship.
In a recent conversation, Delmar Wagler, Project Director, shared how our 32-point QC program keeps our office, project managers, and field teams in sync—so everyone knows exactly where a project stands at any moment.
When a QC manager flags an issue on-site, it’s immediately visible to the office team, allowing us to correct it before panels are built. This approach not only reduces punch work but also ensures a smoother, faster closeout.
Watch Delmar explain how our QC process keeps projects on track:
Our QC process isn’t just about meeting standards—it’s about exceeding them. By combining thorough inspections, detailed documentation, and a commitment to doing it right the first time, we deliver a product that’s efficient, safe, and built to last.
This month, we’re proud to highlight Nery Velasquez, a dedicated member of our Quality Control team. Nery has been with Wagler for over 13 years, spending the past 8 years focused on QC—ensuring every project meets our high standards before it’s turned over to the next trade.
Nery thrives on the challenge of each new
project, approaching them as unique opportunities to solve problems, improve processes, and prevent repeat issues. His daily work involves reviewing details from architects and engineers, documenting field conditions, and sharing updates with the team to ensure issues are corrected quickly and effectively.
